Alex's Story

At the age of fourteen and having just started high school Alex Williamson's life would be forever changed by his mother's breast cancer diagnosis. He would support her alongside the rest of her family through her breast cancer journey. Soon after his mother, Tara Williamson, would start her business Pink Ink Tattoo and mark his beginning with the company as a volunteer and counselor.  

Upon entering college at Campbell University Alex Williamson became more involved with Pink Ink Tattoo as the Event Director. He assisted in the development, management, and marketing of Pink Ink Tattoo events. Additionally, he served as a volunteer, ambassador, and business counselor while attending his undergraduate studies in B.S. Sport Management. 

These experiences with Pink Ink Tattoo as the Event Director inspired his involvement with collegiate, recreational, and professional sporting events. Alex would join Living Sport alongside Oceanman Greece in assisting with the world's only open water swimming championship through being an event assistant and social media coordinator. The experience inspired him to develop more marketing skills which he would bring back to Pink Ink Tattoo. 

Alex decided to continue his education and evolve his expertise in marketing & management by attending a Dual Masters Degree Program from NC State University and the Skema Business School of France in Global Luxury and Management. As part of the program, he was able to learn, experience, and work alongside industry-leading experts and organizations like Dior, Alberto Miliani Jewelry, and many more.

Upon graduating from the program Alex would officially join Pink Ink Tattoo as the Chief Marketing Officer. Alex is responsible for all things marketing, partnerships, public relations, events, media, and operational components of Pink Ink Tattoo.
